Privacy notice
Last updated: 24 September 2026.
This notice explains how TurboKast Ltd handles personal data when we contact clinics about Callie. The controller is TurboKast Ltd, a company registered in Scotland, company number SC881077, registered office 29 Commercial Street, Dundee, DD1 3DG, United Kingdom. ICO registration ZC254281. Contact: support@meetcallie.uk.
Who this covers
It covers two kinds of contact: clinics we contact to offer Callie or invite to join the founding pilot, and clinics we contact only to ask research questions about short-notice cancellations. A research-only contact is never sent marketing.
- What we hold
- The clinic's name, company number, a published generic business email address and phone number, its town, the booking system it uses, its number of practitioners, the public source of each of these, and a record of our contact with the clinic. If someone replies to us, we also hold their name, role and work email address, and any aggregate numbers they choose to share with us, such as a monthly count of cancelled appointments. We never ask for, and do not collect, information about patients.
- Where we get it
- Clinic websites, Companies House, public booking pages, and business directories.
- Why we use it
- To invite clinics to help with research into short-notice cancellations, and to offer clinics a founding place on the Callie pilot.
- Our lawful basis
- Legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): our interest in researching a problem we may be able to help with, and in offering a relevant service to businesses that could use it. We have weighed this against your interests and rights and concluded that they do not override it, because we contact only limited companies and LLPs, use only published business contact details, send at most a first email and two follow-ups, do not track opens or clicks, and stop as soon as you ask.
- Who else sees it
- It stays with us and the services that help us run this: our email provider, Zoho Mail (EU data centre); the AI service we use to help draft messages, Anthropic; and Cloudflare, which hosts this website. We do not sell it.
- How long we keep it
- We delete it 12 months after our last contact with the clinic, unless we start working together. If you object, we keep the business email address and domain on a suppression list for as long as we need to, so that we never contact that clinic again.
Your right to object
You can object to us contacting you at any time. For direct marketing — offering Callie or a founding pilot place — this right is absolute (UK GDPR Article 21(3)): once you object, we stop contacting you. Reply "no" to any of our emails, or write to support@meetcallie.uk. If you'd rather we didn't contact you for research either, tell us and we'll stop that too, and add you to our suppression list.
Your other rights
You can ask to see, correct, restrict or delete the details we hold about a clinic or a named contact. You can also complain to us, or to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
If you become a customer
If a clinic starts using Callie, Callie processes that clinic's patient data as its processor, under a signed data processing agreement, and the clinic remains the controller of that data. That processing is covered by a separate privacy notice, published before we connect to any clinic's Cliniko account.
